"Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second- rate version of somebody else."

One day you learn that the world isn't about you (well some do) and when you figure it out you realize a few things; that everyone has the ability to be cruel by nature, and that everyone will always be better than you at something even when you are convinced you are the best (so quit comparing yourself to them.) People do not want to believe that evil and good can coexist in the same heart but the truth is, is that it does. Without bad, we could not know goodness and without goodness of some in our lives we begin to hate the world. I never want to hate the world. I want to believe in people. I want the strength to except that some people are bad and that there is nothing you can do to change that. But, you CAN change what it is that you do. If people were more concerned with their own character we would never have time to point the finger and blame everyone else for our bad behavior. I guess what I am tryin to say is be who you are and say what you feel even if it means you'll be persecuted for it. What you feel in your heart is right chances are is and who am I to tell you what to believe or how to think? If you live your life with the understanding of who you are and a goal of becoming the best of what that is.....there is no way you can fail.

"People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built."

Count your blessings

I don't care for petty and hateful people. Theres just no room in my life for those kind of people anymore.

I honestly feel brand new...

like a weight has been lifted and I find myself wondering how it was that I was ever down to begin with.

People will always try to steal your happiness...

They will lie and manipulate and maneuver until they have succeeded in stealing the very thing that makes you alive...

That holds you up.
That makes you strong.

This is because they need something that you have...

On the contrary there are those few and precious gems that are genuinely concerned with your well being.

If you find those people... NEVER lose them. To lose those people would be throwing a needle back into the haystack of fake individuals with hidden agendas.

Count your blessings and care for them.
It's what keeps you whole.

"Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier."
